At Lightspeed, we believe innovation isn’t just something we talk about – it’s something we do. Since 2017, Innovation Week has been one of our most exciting traditions: a dedicated week where our development teams step away from day-to-day projects and dive into bold, creative ideas that could shape the future of dealership technology.

And this week- September 15–19, 2025 – we’re hosting our biggest Innovation Week yet.

The Largest Innovation Week in Lightspeed History

Nearly 70 participants across 11 teams, including colleagues from Uruguay and India, are here for this year’s event. For many, it’s their first time meeting face-to-face in Salt Lake City, adding even more energy and collaboration to the week.

We’ve quite literally taken over the entire 3rd floor of our building to make space for the teamwork, brainstorming, and creativity happening right now.  The amount of brainpower being utilized this week is, frankly, a little scary—in the best way possible.

Building the Future with AI

This year’s focus? AI-powered solutions designed to streamline operations, engage customers, and unlock efficiencies for dealerships across industries. Teams are pushing boundaries, tackling new challenges, and experimenting with fresh ways to leverage technology.

Every group will wrap up the week by presenting their Final Project.

Learning, Growing, and Having Fun

Alongside the projects, we’re investing in ongoing education. Pluralsight, AWS, and SoftServe are all onsite, providing classes to help our developers grow their skills and spark new ideas.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Innovation Week without opportunities to connect outside of work. From team outings to shared meals, it’s a chance to strengthen relationships, celebrate creativity, and recharge together.
