That is why Lightspeed is proud to support Care Camps Foundation, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to funding medically supervised pediatric oncology camps across the United States and Canada. Care Camps Foundation’s mission is to bring joy, hope, and the healing power of the outdoors to children living with cancer and their families.
More Than a Camp Experience
A childhood cancer diagnosis affects the whole family. Treatment schedules, hospital visits, emotional stress, and financial strain can quickly become part of everyday life.
Care Camps Foundation helps create a different kind of experience.
Through the camps it supports, children living with cancer and their families can spend time outdoors, build friendships, participate in camp activities, and be part of a community that understands what they are going through. These camps are medically supervised, giving families added peace of mind while children get the chance to simply be kids.
And the impact is significant. In 2025, Care Camps Foundation funded 125 pediatric oncology camps across the U.S. and Canada, supporting more than 47,000 children and family members, including parents and siblings.
