Partnership reinforces Lightspeed’s deep roots in the powersports community, backing five riders competing across Canada and the United States in 2026.
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – April 7, 2026 – Lightspeed, the leading provider of cloud-based dealer management software for the powersports, marine, RV, trailer, and golf car industries, today announced an official sponsorship of Coastal Moto, one of Atlantic Canada’s fastest-growing professional motocross teams. The sponsorship reinforces the company’s four-decade commitment to the powersports industry and the dealer network of more than 4,500 locations it serves across North America.
“We didn’t build Lightspeed from a corner office – we built it from the shop floor,” said Brian Provost, CEO of Lightspeed. “Many of our team members have lived and breathed powersports their entire lives. Sponsoring Coastal Moto is a natural extension of who we are: a company built by dealers, for dealers, with roots that run deep in the riding community.”
Founded and managed by Joel Hillier, Coastal Moto has established itself as one of Canada’s most competitive independent racing programs, fielding a five-rider roster that spans national-level pro competition, rising amateur talent, and women’s motocross. For the 2026 season, Coastal Moto will compete in the Canadian Triple Crown National Championship Series, AMA District 16 events, and select U.S. national rounds.
“Having a partner like Lightspeed behind our team is a game-changer,” said Joel Hillier, Team Owner of Coastal Moto. “They understand the powersports world because they live in it every day with their dealer partners. That shared passion makes this more than a logo on a jersey – it’s a genuine investment in the sport’s future.”
